Round up Chelsea vs. Bolton Wanderers
Well, Chelsea won 1-0. A Nicolas Anelka strike in the first half, and the hard-fought slug that was the second half ensured 3 pts for those dudes. This puts those Londoners 4 points clear with 4 games to go.
Where does this leave us? With 4 games to go, a possible 12 points, mathematically, for the optimists, that lead is hardly unassailable - for the pessimists (or really, just those of us who aren't daft and are a bit realistic), Chelsea pretty much have it in the bag.
BUT WAIT! There's hope! We called upon Bolton to rally up a fight - and away from home, it was a respectable job - but Chelsea still have Liverpool to play—and it's at Anfield. Dare we turn into Liverpool fans, even if it's just for 90+ minutes? (I shudder at the thought, but desperate times call for desperate measures, hey guys?) That titanic clash (not so much, considering Liverpool's fall from grace) could very well influence the outcome of the title yet.
