Rival Watch: Chelsea vs Arsenal

TWO RIVALS IN ONE!

Blockbuster fixture of this weekend. I post this! Even though the game will start in about half an hour, but its significance does not diminish.

I'm hoping this happens.

Indeed, the best thing we could hope for is a draw and several red cards leading to several suspensions and hopefully one or two severely hefty fines.

But oh, those are only the fantasies of someone whose club was bitterly disappointing this weekend—and, might I add, in danger of going third behind our arch- and city-rivals Manchester City 'cause they're leading Newcastle 2-1 as I write.

Chelsea and Arsenal are both smarting from league losses last weekend - but have been boosted by wins in midweek in the Champions League. It's an interesting fixture which Arsenal didn't deal with very well last season.

Arsenal's record against United and Chelsea last season was horrible. Both clubs did the double over the Gunners in the last campaign, and going with how they've played this season (for large periods of time), it doesn't look like improving.

BUT! That's the thing, an Arsenal win would be the best result, if it didn't end like I wanted (y'know, 0-0 with both teams reduced to 6 men).

I'd take Arsenal going ahead of us than Chelsea running away with it this early.

I've not got much else substantial, really. My dad's just turned to the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games, so any build-up with announcements of teams and the like will not be posted here. Check http://www.premierleague.com or http://www.espnstar.com for info if you want!

But I DO know that neither of these guys will be playing.

C'mon 0-0! You're our only hope now!

And news just in, Manchester City have indeed beaten Newcastle United 2-1, meaning we're down to third. Languishing behind those arseholes.

Bastard.
