Wayne Wants Out

I'm very sorry to break this piece of news.

It's been alleged through several media publications that Wayne Rooney's relationship with Sir Alex has deteriorated and "disintegrated" beyond all repair.

He's determined to leave as soon as possible, January being a target for his departure, if not he'll play out the remainder of his contract and will aim to leave on a free transfer.

This. Is. Disastrous.

According to BBC Sport, he'll not sign a new deal and already speculation is rife as to who will snap up his signature before the end of the season.

Jesus Wayne, why?

Freaking BILLIONS of people out there who practically idolise you and you're willing to let that turn into anger and hatred just 'cause Fergie's trying to look out for you in light of the awkward personal situation you've been through?

Of course, I can't know exactly what's going on between those two, but Steve Bruce seems to agree with me...
"He's been trying to keep him out of the spotlight, trying to keep him under the radar, trying to protect him in his way," Bruce told BBC Radio 5 live's Sportsweek.

"We all know Wayne Rooney is a fantastic footballer and it's the first time in his career he's had this little sort of blip. Make no mistake, he'll be back - he's our best talent in this country and it's about time we tried to protect him and look after him."

Not only does this mean we're most likely one short up front from now on... it'll serve to disturb and unbalance the entire team. We're Manchester UNITED. I hope this doesn't leave us divided.
