Rival Watch: Arsenal Win, Chelsea lose?

I'm thinking "Rival Watch" should become a regular series of posts—especially now that I have all this free time!

First order of business: Arsenal beat Everton 2-1 and move a point ahead of us into second place.

Sagna and Fabregas got the goals, along with Tim Cahill who couldn't quite inspire an heroic comeback.

It's not that big a deal in truth, as Arsenal have the North London derby on Saturday which, if an in-form Spurs team perform like they did against Inter, could see this brief overtaking manoeuvre be just that—brief.

Big news from Stamford Bridge: a Man of the Match performance by on-loan United striker Danny Welbeck sees Sunderland beat Chelsea—nay, maul Chelsea at home for the first time this season. Yes, you heard it. Chelsea were well and truly beaten. And it's so, so, so satisfying to say it. Goals from Nedum Onouha, Asamoah Gyan and good ol' Danny seal the deal for an impressive Black Cats side. The race is definitely hotting up as a tantalising winter of football approaches.

Steve Bruce? Legend in every way imaginable.

    Hi. I'm a Grammar Nazi.

You said "an heroic" instead of "a heroic."

    I still love you though.

Don't get me mixed up with a Spelling Nazi.

    I hate those fuckers.

    Also: Harry Potter.

    Are you excited? I am.
