Damn straight. |
The 411:
After finding our wheels last time out against Newcastle, United are hoping to keep their form going and gain maximum points in the early stages of the season. This week: We're up against a Fulham team that played out a 0-0 draw with Bolton last Saturday.
Chasing the Title:
Chelsea have won ANOTHER game 6-0 and it's beginning to get to me. This means that in two games, they've scored 12 and as Damiano the Chelsea fan pointed out (with several exclamation marks) on our facebook page, that makes it 20 goals in the last three league games for Chelsea. Goddammit.
In other "big four" news, Arsenal have demolished Blackpool 6-0 at the Emirates while Liverpool take on Man. City tomorrow evening.

Enemy Form:
With only a point from their first game of the season, Fulham are currently 13th and are looking to jump start their season.
Players to Look Out For:
Danny Murphy has been a pain in United's ass for as long as I can remember. It's not that he's as gifted as the Scholes' or the Gerrard's, but he always seems to find a way to torment United - and I don't know why.

Murphy's a good passer and can set up some nice plays, but his real threat comes in the form of free kicks. Twice, if I remember correctly, did he score against us for Liverpool with free kicks. Twice, I swore uncontrollably in front of my tv.
On the Home Front:
To me, Dimitar Berbatov is starting to look more comfortable at Old Trafford and will hopefully be able to get a scoring run started today. As for his usual strike partner, Wayne Rooney is still looking to light the lamp and get back on his bike after a disappointing end to last year's campaign. In other news, Evra isn't too shaken up after landing awkwardly near the ad boards and should be fit to play. In fact, the whole team is set to be fit other than the long term absentees, Messrs. Ferdinand, Anderson, and Hargreaves.
TSR's Thoughts:
1. Will Rooney score? And if he does, will it spark a glut of goals?

2. Will Chicharito play and show us the quality he produced in South Africa?
3. Is Sir Alex giving Vidic the captaincy so more rumors about him leaving don't start up again?
4. Is it the kit manager's job to hold up the player's jackets? Or does he do it out of courtesy?
Hopefully Rooney doesn't resort to joining the cast of Twilight |
Go United.
Does Manchester United then become the default Team Rooney if he does join the cast of Twilight?
